Ph.D. Admissions, January 2012 (Advt. No.17/11)

Applications are invited from highly motivated students for admission to the Ph.D. programme beginning in January 2012 at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram.

Candidates with Masters degree in Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Physical Sciences and related fields are eligible to apply. Individual schools will have additional eligibility criteria including qualifying in national level tests like CSIR-UGC-JRF, GATE, ICMR, JEST, NBHM etc. Visit the following URL http://www.iisertvm.ac.in/admissions/phdprogramme

Relaxation of eligibility criteria for SC/ST candidates will be made according to the Government of India rules.

All students admitted to the Ph.D. programme receive fellowships either from national fellowships like CSIR-UGC-JRF/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/NBHM or from IISERTVM.
